Our group's research interests are in the areas of organic, biomolecular, and supramolecular chemistry, broadly defined. Current efforts are comprised of the interplay of the following venues: fluorescent dyes as environment-sensitive probes and dual-state emitters, as well as non-conventional fluids, such as ionic liquids, eutectic solvents, and their respective gels.
