My name is Dexter and this is my homepage.

I am a twelve month old pug and I am simply beautiful (at least that is what I hear my Mom say a lot). I was what people call an "owner turn-in". My old family couldn't keep me, so I was rescued by PRoSET Pug Rescue. There I met all kinds of other pugs. Their Mom (Nita Baird) found me a real nice foster home to stay in. I didn't know it, but my new Mom had been calling around looking for a pug just like me. When Nita talked to Mom, she knew we would be a perfect match and I ended up with a new family.

I am real happy here too. There is a cupboard that has all of my treats in it. My favorite is when my Mom gets out the turkey and spreads peanut butter on it. It didn't take me long to figure out she just wants me to sit for it. I sit, I get treat. Mmmmmmmm! I'll sit all day. Everyone loves to play with me, there is always someone willing to pull on my toy for me or even hold my bone while I chew it. And at night, when I'm soo tired, Mom cuddles me and rubs my belly. I can only hope other pugs are as happy as I am in my new home.

In Memory of 'Peanut'
August 30, 2002 - November 19, 2002

As you'll see from the pictures located at the above link that Peanut was indeed the pick of the litter. She was a sweet little baby, but sadly she passed away November 19, 2002. While being a playful, beautiful little girl, odds were stacked against her being the smallest of all her sisters. Peanut will be missed by all who held her.
