• eHistory.com  A useful site with many valuable primary sources on U.S. history, including the complete text of the Official Records of the Union and Confederate Armies.
• Cornell University's "Making of America Collection" also contains a handy, electronically searchable complete text of the ORs as well as their naval counterpart. It too contains much other good material on the rest of U.S. history.
• The Handbook of Texas Online is an outstanding resource on Texas history.
• "The Federalist" Historic Documents Page  contains numerous documents pertaining to U.S. history in both facsimile and transcript form.

• 8th Georgia Infantry Webpage is an excellent Civil War website.
• The Papers of Jefferson Davis Homepage contains not only information on Davis, but other good Civil War links as well.

• Gettysburg National Military Park
• Hargrett Library Rare Map Collection is the University of Georgia's collection of Civil War maps made available on-line.
• Selected Civil War Photos in the Library of Congress.
• The Illinois Civil War Project contains more good Civil War information.
