Activities:
On a given day Dr. Miller can be found teaching class, working with students, working out in the gym, biking along the Trinity River, or rehearsing with the Fort Worth Civic Orchestra. In the summer he likes to work with colleagues in France and hike in the Rocky Mountains.

Family:
Dr. Miller is married to Dr. Etta Miller who recently retired from the faculty of the TCU School of Education. They have two children, Ira Zevi and Bo Kim. Ira has a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology from Texas A&M and the LLD from St. Mary’s in San Antonio. He is an attorney living in Corpus Christi. Ira is married and has a young child. Bo has a bachelor's degree in Neuroscience and Psychology from Brandeis University and is currently living in Texas.
