Adams, Scott
- The Dilbert Principle
- Adams himself tells you at the beginning of the book
that you're a bit of a sucker for buying it. While he's
trying to be funny, there's a tiny bit of truth there.
Basically, Adams is a really, really funny cartoonist.
Currently, Dilbert is by far my favorite running cartoon.
But cartoon humor does not translate well to written humor,
and I found the majority of the text sections here to be
rather plodding. The cartoons interspersed were the
highlights of the book, and many were repeated in different
places. If you really want to read something funny, leave
the written humor to Dave Barry and go buy one of Adams'
many Dilbert cartoon books instead.
