  • Science and the media is a rich topic, and there are many great points to be made along the lines of Feynman's famous Cargo Cult Science speech, and there are many great examples that have touched everyone, like the Alar scare, the greenhouse effect, AIDS, etc. This book covers a lot of that ground, but for some reason, I didn't find it very enjoyable. Very dry and academic as opposed to more readable popular science literature. This is a good book only if you're a junkie on the topic of science and the media like I am.
