    • Very well-written series about a group of explorers who decide to check out a strange planetesimal in orbit around Jupiter. On the one hand, I really respected and liked the ideas that were here, and the books were very unusual in a good way. On the other hand, they depressed the hell out of me, so I'm not sure I would recommend them. Could be that I was sick while reading the series.
