  • This installment in the official "Star Wars" storyline occurs mere days after the events of Return of the Jedi. In fact, a major plot device in the book is how beat-up Luke is thanks to his battle with Vader and the Emperor. Anyway, in this book, the rebels travel to an outpost world being threatened by a race that is attempting to enslave humanity to serve as life-force in their robots. A very interesting story that sets a tough mark to reach for future Star Wars novelizations. On par with Zahn's series.
