  • This is a companion book to the famous TV show (I admit I was addicted during the second half after ignoring the show for the first several weeks), written by the producer (the only one with the right until 2003 or so to write a book). I was hoping for a little more behind the scenes information about the people on the show, but most of the book revolves around what was going on behind the camera with the production crew. I suppose for those looking into more insight behind the relationships in the Tagi alliance or major conflicts will have to wait for contestant books. Meanwhile, Burnett answers a few questions about the show on the record about famous scenes (about Kelly's reward challenge prize of going to the bar, Sean's boat adventure with Rich, Jenna not getting a videotape of her daughters, etc), but you can probably get all of this from sites like http://www.survivorsucks.com anyway. I wish I could have waited for this to pop up at used bookstores and bargain shelves, but I'm an idiot.
