  • Your basic spy-fiction, with Our Hero pitted against the evil Eurotrash international terrorist named The Jackal. Clancy did a better job with "Cardinal of the Kremlin". I'm not really sure why these sold so well...trendy, I suppose. Not unreadable by any stretch, but there are so many better books out there!
