  • Fairly readable book about life in the Middle Ages and how it relates to our society today much more than one would think. You have to like reading about this historical period to like this book, I would think. Still, I'm not an enormous history buff (at least not for history beyond the past 50 years or so) and I enjoyed this book. A very vivid picture of life in the Middle Ages in Europe.
