Darden, Christopher
- In Contempt
- Okay, okay, so I read a book on the OJ trial. I feel dirty.
My only excuse is that I got it as a gift, and I was actually
pretty surprised. Once you get past the really sappy "Hard
Copy" script of the first and last chapters, the meat of the
book is well-written. Half of the book is Darden's pre-OJ
biography (this poor guy just HATES OJ and the whole trial,
but his life will hereafter be defined as pre- and post-OJ),
and half is the inside story of the trial. I don't know that
this is THE book to read on the trial, but it isn't bad.
